Avery's first birthday did not go exactly as we had planned. Unfortunately, the night we chose to have our family celebration, Avery became ill. I knew something wasn't quite right with him when he turned down the nice lady at the bakery with a free cookie in her hand...As our evening progressed, A became more and more quiet. He didn't laugh, didn't eat, and didn't drink (SOOOO not my baby). Finally, when presented with his birthday dinner, he thanked us by YACKING all over it! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! After a bath and some cuddles, we let him have his birthday cupcake. Again, not interested (and not my kiddo). So, we took some novelty shots and let the poor baby go to bed! Happy Birthday Little Man! We love you!
